Earth Day - Set Up

Registration

• Bici Centro (4 Volunteers) - Free
  You will be helping coach people through repairs in the Bici Centro Zone at Earth Day at Alameda Park. Regular Bici Centro shifts will be closed. Bicycle Mechanic experience necessary.
• Bici Centro Shop Manager - Free
  Manage the Bici Centro area at Earth Day. Must be available all day and skilled in bicycle mechanics and leadership. If you are interested in this position, please contact Piper at piperpresley[at]gmail.com.
• Bicycle Valet (10 Volunteers) - Free
  Assist with valet parking over 500 bicycles throughout Earth Day weekend! Ability to lift 30lbs necessary.
• Kids Activities Helpers (3 Volunteers) - Free
  Help kids make awesome spin art and coloring!
• Map Minder & Community Surveyor (2 volunteers) - Free
  Assist guests with marking a giant map of bicycle routes. Have them mark the routes they like and maybe don't like so much.
  
  Ability to work well with large groups of people helpful as well as a good knowledge of Santa Barbara's bicycle paths useful but not necessary.
• Pedal Power Operator (1 Volunteer) - Free
  Help educate the public about how the Pedal Powered stage works and get Earth Day guests pedaling to help with powering the stage!
  
  Useful knowledge of energy and ability to work with all ages and simplify the information for younger audiences necessary. If you are interested in volunteering in this capacity, contact Piper at piperpresley[at]gmail.com. Registration code required.
• Stage Area Manager - Free
  Help manage the stage area and volunteers at the Pedal Power stage, kids activities, and mapping activity. If you are interested in this position, please contact Piper at piperpresley[at]gmail.com. Registration code required.
• Tabling - Bici Centro (2 Volunteers) - Free
  Do you love talking to people about Bici Centro? Come help table at Earth Day with Bici Centro and assist with coordinating the Bici Centro mechanics in helping guests with their bicycle needs. Good knowledge of Bici Centro necessary.
• Tabling - CycleMAYnia (3 Volunteers) - Free
  Help spread the word about CycleMAYnia!
• Tabling - SB Bicycle Coalition (3 Volunteers) - Free
  Inform Earth Day guests about the Santa Barbara Bicycle Coalition and the benefits of membership and how being a member helps! Good knowledge of SB Bicycle Coalition necessary.
• Valet Area Manager - Free
  Help manage the Bike Valet area and volunteers. This position requires the person to be there the entire day.
