Professor John Pucher visits Santa Barbara

John Pucher, internationally renowned Professor of Urban Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University, will be visiting Santa Barbara. His most recent research focuses on the role of walking and cycling in creating sustainable cities. COAST is proud to co-sponsor his visit here. Here is a schedule of his visit, please stop by for any or all of these events to meet him!

10 am: Group walk and visit to the farmers market downtown, followed by lunch at a restaurant. Meeting place TBD; please check our website.
2 pm: Refreshments at Casa Las Palmas, 323 E. Cabrillo Boulevard
2:20 - 3:30 pm: Free public presentation at Casa Las Palmas, "Promoting Walking and Cycling for Sustainable Cities: Lessons from Europe and North America."
