The bicycle is a tool for empowerment and a vehicle for change.

Hosted at two locations: Santa Barbara Junior High & Goleta Valley Junior High
Dates: June 11-15, 2012
Monday–Friday: 9am–12pm
Registration fee: Only $20/student (for a course valued at $200).
Pedal Power: 18 hours of "driver education" on your bicycle!
After-school: twice a week for 5 or 6 weeks.

LEARN bike mechanics, bike handling skills, signage and go on fun field trips on your bike with friends.
Bring your bike in working condition and helmet on the first day of class. Please use this form to check your bike before the first day of class. Registered participants who don't have a bike, can earn one from Bici Centro at the completion of the program.
Non-refundable registration fee : ONLY $20 (for a course valued at $250!)

Please DONATE any unwanted/old/unused/broken bicycles and we wil do the rest.
Our student run bike shop is refurbishing bikes for the community.
Everybody is welcome! Register online every week so we know how many bikes to prepare.
